I love the blog! Hmmmmm-what a good idea! I wonder who thought of it :). Now brides and vendors can share great ideas or great wedding horror stories.
It was great to see so many of our vendors at the Wedding show last Saturday. Hope the show was a good one for you!
hThe busy wedding season is right around the corner! And, just a reminder to all the new brides to be - Prom season is smack in the middle of the busy wedding season.
For all of the future Spring brides out there, here are a few tips.
As soon as the kids get their Prom date, they start renting the limousines and tuxedos.
Tell your groom and his groomsmen to lock in their Tuxedo choices early.
If you want a limousine for your special day, pick up the phone today and make your reservation. Every year I hear the disappointment in a bride's voice when I have to tell her there are no limousines to be found.
When planning your wedding date drop by or call your local Visitors and Convention Bureau. You can find out what is going on in the area that might conflict with your wedding plans.
A good example about conflicts is that every year Eastside Transportation has coordinated the limousines for the Bi-Lo Charity Golf Tournament. It is a huge event that uses about 30 limousines. All of our limos are used for this event and we sub-contract the rest of limousines from local companies and companies as far away as Charleston as well as companies from NC. June 7, 2008 is not a good day if you want a limousine!
I hope these tips are helpful. Congratulations to all of the brides to be out there. The Wedding Mall vendors are ready, willing and able to help you with all of your wedding preparations.
Did you know?….that once you’re engaged, and have made a decision about a date and number of guests its the perfect time to hire your wedding planner?
Did you know?....that you can hire most planners by the hour to discuss budget and vendor recomendations?
A seasoned wedding planner can help you determine a realistic budget based on her experience and knowledge of industry trends. As well, she can match that budget to the vendors that can create the wedding you’ve envisioned.
We understand that you want to plan your wedding yourself. Heck! That's what we do and we love it!
But if you feel like you can gain a better understanding of the wedding planning process, get a firm grasp on the amount of resources it takes to complete the vision, and benefit from the "inside scoop" on vendor selection, then hire a wedding planner for a few hours and pick her brain!
I bet if you decide to hire her for the duration, she’ll reduce the overall cost of her services by the price of her consultation fee.
“Heck! I know I would!”
I’m Krystal Donald of All Occasion Celebrations and I’d love to help you plan for your BIG day!
